ACCCIM hopes for GST Rate to remain for at least Three Years KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) hopes the government will keep the six per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate for at least three to five years. Its President Datuk Lim Kok Cheong said this will allow for a two-year grace period of learning and settling down, and without legal action or the imposition of heavy penalties on businesses that make unintentional mistakes during this time.
